Cumberland County Guidance Center is seeking a Full-Time Clinical Specialist or Licensed Clinical Specialist to join our Program for Assertive Community Treatment (PACT) team in Bridgeton, New Jersey.
Whether you're a master's-level clinician working toward professional licensure or a licensed behavioral health professional, this role offers an opportunity to provide meaningful, recovery-oriented care within a multidisciplinary team setting. The PACT model delivers intensive, community-based behavioral health services to individuals living with severe and persistent mental illness. Responsibilities
~1 min readAs a Clinical Specialist, you'll work closely with psychiatrists, nurses, case managers, peer specialists, and community providers to support individuals receiving PACT services.
- →Provide individual and group counseling services
- →Complete psychosocial assessments and crisis evaluations
- →Develop and implement individualized treatment and recovery plans
- →Coordinate care with medical, clinical, and community providers
- →Support medication monitoring, treatment adherence, and wellness planning
- →Engage family members and natural supports in the recovery process
- →Connect individuals with housing, benefits, healthcare, and community resources
- →Assist clients in developing independent living and community integration skills
- →Participate in community-based interventions and transportation as needed
- →Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation
- →Participate in the program's on-call rotation schedule
Requirements
~1 min read- LCSW, LPC, or other advanced clinical licensure
- Experience providing individual and group therapy
- Community mental health experience
- Crisis intervention experience
- Experience working within PACT programs
- Experience collaborating within multidisciplinary treatment teams
- Bilingual English/Spanish
- Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related Human Services field
- Minimum two years of post-bachelor's experience working with individuals living with severe and persistent mental illness
- Knowledge of behavioral health systems and community resources
- Valid New Jersey driver's license with acceptable driving history
- Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related Human Services field
- Current New Jersey LSW or LAC license
- Minimum two years of post-bachelor's mental health experience
- Experience working with individuals living with severe and persistent mental illness
- Knowledge of behavioral health systems and community resources
- Valid New Jersey driver's license with acceptable driving history
