The Cumberland County Guidance Center is seeking a Full-Time Clinical Specialist to join our Program of Assertive Community Treatment (PACT) team in Bridgeton, NJ.
This position provides an opportunity to work closely with individuals living with severe and persistent mental illness while delivering community-based, recovery-oriented behavioral healthcare. Responsibilities
~1 min readAs a Clinical Specialist on the PACT Team, you'll work collaboratively with psychiatrists, nurses, case managers, peers, and community partners to support individuals in recovery.
Responsibilities include:
- →Providing individual and group counseling services
- →Conducting mental health assessments and crisis evaluations
- →Coordinating services with medical, clinical, and community providers
- →Supporting medication monitoring and treatment compliance
- →Engaging family members and natural support systems
- →Connecting clients with community resources and support services
- →Assisting with transportation and community-based interventions
- →Participating in on-call rotation responsibilities
- →Maintaining clinical documentation and compliance standards
What We Offer

~1 min read- Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or related Human Services field
- Minimum two years of post-bachelor's experience working with individuals with severe and persistent mental illness
- Knowledge of behavioral health services and community resources
- Valid New Jersey driver's license with acceptable driving history
- Spanish-speaking ability
- Experience in community mental health
- Crisis intervention experience
- Experience providing individual and group therapy
- Experience working in multidisciplinary treatment teams
