The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, sanitation, and overall appearance of community facilities to support a safe and welcoming environment. This role ensures high standards of cleanliness across shared spaces while contributing to a positive resident experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform routine and deep cleaning of community facilities, including common areas, restrooms, and shared spaces, ensuring consistent adherence to cleanliness standards
• Maintain organization and sanitation of assigned areas, identifying and addressing cleaning needs proactively
• Safely operate cleaning equipment and use appropriate cleaning agents in accordance with safety guidelines
• Monitor and restock cleaning supplies and report maintenance or repair needs to leadership
• Work collaboratively with team members while also managing assigned tasks independently
• Provide courteous and professional interactions with residents, guests, and team members
• Maintain flexibility and efficiency in a fast-paced environment, adjusting priorities as needed
REQUIREMENTS

Minimum Qualifications

  • Ability to work 8am-4pm weekend schedule
  • Prior housekeeping, janitorial, or related cleaning experience
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English (verbal and written)
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Reliable attendance and consistent work ethic
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience working in residential communities, hospitality, or similar environments
• Familiarity with commercial cleaning equipment and products

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
The physical requirements can vary, but generally, they may include:

  • Lifting: Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds on a regular basis
  • Mobility: Frequent walking, standing, bending, reaching, and repetitive cleaning motions throughout the shift
  • Working Conditions: Primarily onsite in indoor and outdoor community spaces; may include exposure to varying temperatures and environmental conditions
  • Personal Protective Gear: Use of gloves and other protective equipment as required when handling cleaning supplies and materials
  • Extended Sitting or Standing: Ability to stand and move for extended periods during scheduled shifts
  • Manual Dexterity: Ability to operate cleaning tools and equipment and use mobile devices or basic reporting tools as needed
  • Driving: Not typically required; if required for specific communities, must maintain a valid driver’s license and acceptable motor vehicle record
