The Manager, Learning and Talent Development works closely with leadership, HR colleagues, front line managers and employees to develop and execute a broad range of people strategies focused on talent development and management, organizational development, and culture-enhancing efforts to positively impact the employee experience overall.
Reporting to the Director, Talent Management, you will be responsible for managing complete learning and talent development programs and offerings within the global Talent Management function and large-scale projects, in part or in whole. You will develop, manage and execute management and employee training, learning vendors and programs, employee tools and resources such as assessments or team offerings, and individual or business specific training requests which increase the capability, engagement or performance of people across CDK Global. In addition to this you will be responsible for preparing, managing and reporting on budget in line with forecasted and actual spend, leading large-scale projects, and engaging with the broader talent organization to effectively accelerate skill development across the organization.

Responsibilities

- →Design, develop, and support CDK employee development through various offerings and tools including but not limited to: external facilitation and vendor resources, CDK provided tools and technology, personality or cognitive assessments, individual or team consulting, team activities, and coaching.
- →Partner effectively with the broader Talent organization to integrate talent strategies and values into L&TD offerings, programs, and strategies.
- →Own learning and talent development programs from strategy through implementation and measurement
- →Evaluate learning and development requests and consult with business leaders to determine appropriate solutions, prioritization, and investment aligned to organizational objectives.
- →Partner with HR Leadership, HR Technology, HR Business Partners, Line Managers and Senior Leaders to advise on the best course of action for development needs in their departments as well as leading, where appropriate, on key strategic developments driven out to the business by the Global Talent function
- →Develop and maintain strong relationships with external suppliers including external trainers/facilitators, managing them to time quality and cost standards to ensure high-quality learning interventions for the organization·
- →Ensure that appropriate systems and processes are in place to support learning, track and measure adoption of learning, and maximize the use and governance of learning technology where appropriate.
- →Partner with community of stakeholders and internal learning content owners to ensure alignment with L&TD roadmap and strategy.
- →Develops analyses, insights and presentation materials used by HR Leadership, Executive Leadership and Board-level discussions.
- →Embraces a data-driven mindset, establishing data insights to measure the adoption, success and impact of human capital strategies
- →Consults with business leaders, HR Business Partners, and functional stakeholders to identify capability gaps and recommend scalable learning and development solutions aligned to business priorities.

Requirements
~3 min read- 7+ years of experience in learning & talent development, talent management, organizational design and effectiveness and/or HR business partnering
- Extensive experience working with digital learning content providers (e.g. LinkedIn Learning, Udemy, Skillsoft). Proven track-record with successful launch/implementation of learning platforms strongly preferred.
- Competent with Workday Learning Administration. Additional experience with Workday Skills Cloud, Talent Pools preferred.
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills; experience in presenting to employees, multiple levels of leadership and internal stakeholders
- Strong business consulting, stakeholder management, and HR acumen
- Experience with championing organizational and cultural change management initiatives
- Ability to be effective in a highly matrixed environment, to effectively communicate with and influence all levels of the organization and drive change
- Customer-focused, proven track record of building credibility and influence across the business and ability to gain alignment or consensus.
- Skilled at managing and synthesizing data to gauge adoption and effectiveness of learning programs and propose solutions to course-correct where applicable
- Demonstrated ability to invite diverse perspectives, promote an equitable, inclusive work environment and support workforce diversity
- Strong strategic planning, program and project management skills; ability to deliver through others on multiple initiatives simultaneously
- Ability to travel [approximately 10%] to achieve business objectives and support business objectives
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
- Experience with instructional design tools and processes
- Certifications in psychometric assessments including Clifton Strengths, Korn Ferry Potential, Korn Ferry 360, and/or Hogan
Salary Range: $115,000 - $130,000
CDK Global is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. Compensation packages are based on several factors, including but not limited to skills, experience, certifications, and work location. The total compensation package for this position may also include annual performance bonus, benefits and/or other applicable incentive compensation plans.We offer Medical, dental, and vision benefits in addition to:
