Are you looking for a unique opportunity at a growing sustainability department where you can support us to further expand our programs? Do you see it as a challenge to develop our sustainability initiatives and policy further? Then working for Tracomex Group within Cefetra Group might be a perfect fit for you!

Who we are
The Cefetra Group consists of various agricultural and food ingredients trading and supply chain management companies, with leading brands within the ingredients business. Collectively we employ over 700 people across 35 offices in 20 countries around the world. We work closely together to guarantee the best possible service to our customers. We develop supply chains with suppliers and create value by sourcing raw materials and supplying those to the international food and feed industry.

The Tracomex Group is part of Cefetra Group. We are a group of several entities specialized in niche-products within the agricultural market. We supply agricultural raw materials to the animal feed, food ingredients, and pet food industries; conventional as well as organic. We offer a dynamic working environment that combines the warm, personal culture of a family-owned business with the opportunities and professional advantages of a larger organization. Within Tracomex Group 70 employees are working in 4 locations.

The job
You will be working closely within the Cefetra Sustainability team. Together with the team you will be responsible for the day-to-day coordination of the sustainability projects within Tracomex Group. This will include overseeing and implementing governmental regulation (e.g. EUDR and PPWR) within the organisation, as well as checking and discussing compliance with our suppliers and customers and ensuring compliance with the different sustainability standards according to which the entities are certified (e.g. ISCC, RSPO, etc.). Potentially this will mean you will be involved in writing and updating the required procedures and ensuring these are followed suit internally as well as externally. You have an eye for detail, being precise when needed, for example when ensuring the alignment with these new standards and when performing administrative tasks. You can recognize opportunities early on and are open for discussions with stakeholders to convince them to make changes in how we tend to operate. You are eager to learn, being able to quickly comprehend difficult regulatory texts and methodologies, like PEFCR feed, GHG protocol, and being able to translate these into tangible actions and convince others to implement these in our supply chains.

Who are you
Most important is that you can be critical and precise, but also pragmatic when needed. To be successful within Tracomex group, it is important to have a ‘self-starter’ mentality, be open-minded and curious. In addition, you can identify with the following requirements:

  • You have a degree in sustainability.

  • You have relevant knowledge or interest in the agri-sector, and you are passioned about sustainability. Additionally, you have experience of managing projects.

  • Your educational background is equivalent to a bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, economics or comparable.

  • You are IT savvy and you have strong experience with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint (and Power BI is a plus).

  • You get energy from collaborating with different people and are skilled at connecting stakeholders, building relationships and bringing the right people together to move projects forward.

  • You have an excellent command of Dutch and English (both verbally and written).

  • Knowledge of ISCC is a plus
