Role Overview: 

The Reporting Manager is responsible for overseeing the preparation, accuracy, and timely delivery of financial, regulatory, and management reports across the business. The role ensures the integrity of financial information through robust reporting processes, controls, reconciliations, and stakeholder engagement. Working closely with Finance, FP&A, Risk, Compliance, and external stakeholders, the Reporting Manager supports informed decision-making and ensures compliance with internal policies, IFRS, and regulatory reporting requirements in a dynamic fintech environment.


What You'll do:

1. Financial Reporting

  • Manage the preparation and delivery of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Ensure completeness, accuracy, and consistency of financial reporting across all legal entities.
  • Support the preparation of annual financial statements and related disclosures in accordance with IFRS and statutory requirements.
  • Prepare reporting packs and financial commentary for senior management and key stakeholders.

2. Balance Sheet Reporting & Reconciliations

  • Oversee the monthly balance sheet review process, ensuring all accounts are reconciled and supported by appropriate documentation.
  • Review reconciliations and investigate unusual balances, trends, or variances.
  • Coordinate with accounting and FP&A teams to ensure accurate reporting of accruals, provisions, and estimates.
  • Escalate significant reporting risks and recommend corrective actions.

3. Regulatory Reporting

  • Prepare and submit regulatory financial reports to relevant regulators and authorities within required timelines.
  • Ensure compliance with reporting requirements across all operating jurisdictions.
  • Monitor regulatory reporting changes and implement updates to reporting processes and templates.
  • Support regulatory inspections and information requests related to financial reporting.

4. Management Reporting & Analysis

  • Produce management reports, dashboards, and performance metrics for executive leadership.
  • Analyze financial results and provide insights into key business drivers, trends, and variances.
  • Collaborate with FP&A and business teams to improve reporting quality and decision-support information.
  • Develop and maintain reporting KPIs and reporting governance standards.

5. Controls, Governance & Process Improvement

  • Maintain strong reporting controls to ensure data integrity and reporting accuracy.
  • Support implementation of reporting automation initiatives and continuous process improvements.
  • Work closely with Finance Systems teams to enhance reporting capabilities and efficiencies.
  • Ensure reporting procedures are documented, standardized, and consistently applied.

6. Audit & Stakeholder Management

  • Support internal and external audits by providing reporting schedules, reconciliations, and supporting documentation.
  • Support responses to audit queries and ensure timely resolution of reporting-related findings.
  • Act as a key liaison between Finance, Compliance, Risk, Operations, and external stakeholders on provision of financial reports.
  • Provide clear and concise reporting insights to senior leadership and governance committees.


What we are looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • Professional accounting qualification (CPA, ACCA, CA, or equivalent).
  • 5–8+ years of experience in financial reporting, regulatory reporting, or financial control.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting standards.
  • Experience preparing management, regulatory, and statutory reports.
  • Experience in financial services, fintech, banking, or other regulated industries is preferred.
  • Advanced analytical and financial modelling skills.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, Oracle, SAP) and reporting tools.
  • High attention to detail, strong problem-solving ability, and capacity to work in a fast-paced environment.
