CenterLine Machinery Division requires a self-motivated individual to fill the position of Mechanical Design Supervisor. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a flexible Design Group, while interfacing with Robot Simulation, Controls Design, Detailing, Manufacturing, Project Management, and customers. This position reports to the Mechanical Design Manager.

What we’re looking for:

  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration by leading discussions, resolving conflicts, coordinating stakeholders, chairing meetings, and communicating clear organizational messaging.
  • Drive quality, continuous improvement, and operational excellence by leading problem-solving initiatives and ensuring effective use of tools, systems, and standardized workflows.
  • Develop and execute project level resource plans aligned with budgets and corporate strategy.
  • Proactively identifying and mitigating risks and constraints to achieve project objectives.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities, executing projects, and monitoring KPIs, and driving accountability through effective huddle board management and performance tracking.
  • Ensure design deliverables comply with customer specifications, quoted scope, and applicable safety requirements.
  • Facilitate design reviews and walkthroughs to ensure alignment with customer requirements, engineering standards, and project objectives.
  • Drive resolution of systemic issues to improve quality, process performance, and operational efficiency.
  • Support project requirements by ensuring effective collaboration and coordination across cross-functional teams.
  • Support process and cycle time validation to ensure compliance with project requirements.
  • Manage ECNs and support ECR impact investigations.
  • Oversee shift handoffs across supervisors and departments to ensure effective communication, work continuity, and alignment on project priorities and issues.
  • Professionally represent the organization by supporting community outreach initiatives, fostering talent development through educational programs, and maintaining a strong commitment to internal and external customer satisfaction and respect.

What you need to succeed:
  • Minimum 8 years design/engineering experience.
  • Mechanical Engineering degree, Mechanical Engineering Technology diploma, or skilled trade. certificate with related machine build experience, required.
  • Proven time management, planning and leadership capabilities.
  • Innovative and creative problem-solving skills.

Wage Range: $47.00 - $56.00 hourly
