The Senior Vice President, Head of Corporate Banking & Syndications serves as the enterprise leader for complex commercial credit solutions, middle market banking initiatives, and syndicated lending activities across Central Bank. This position partners with market presidents, commercial banking leaders, credit administration, treasury management, and executive leadership to deliver sophisticated financing solutions for larger and more complex commercial relationships. The role provides strategic leadership, transaction expertise, and execution support while maintaining strong risk management and relationship profitability standards.
- Lead enterprise middle market banking initiatives, including target segment strategies, growth priorities, and opportunity development.
- Partner with internal business lines and market leadership to deliver coordinated financial solutions for complex commercial clients.
- Structure and advise on sophisticated lending transactions, including acquisition financing, leveraged transactions, cash flow lending, ownership transition financing, syndicated lending, and multi-bank credit facilities.
- Build and oversee the Bank's loan syndication function, including participation strategies, bank partner relationships, syndication governance, and capital provider relationships.
- Establish and promote enterprise standards for complex credit transactions while supporting consistent execution across markets.
- Collaborate with Credit Administration and executive leadership to ensure alignment with credit policy, regulatory expectations, portfolio management objectives, and risk appetite.
- Monitor market adoption, portfolio performance, and relationship profitability associated with corporate banking and syndication activities.
- Perform other duties as assigned or as needed.
- Comply with all applicable banking regulations, including Bank Secrecy Act requirements and information security standards.

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field required; advanced financial or banking credentials preferred.
- Minimum 15 years of commercial or corporate banking experience.
- Minimum 10 years of experience structuring complex commercial credit transactions.
- Significant experience leading syndicated lending transactions and developing participation relationships.
- Demonstrated expertise in complex credit underwriting, cash flow analysis, acquisition financing, leveraged finance, and portfolio management.
- Strong relationship management skills with experience working directly with business owners, executive management teams, attorneys, financial advisors, and banking partners.
