This is a highly collaborative role that sits at the intersection of business, data, technology, and analytics. You will help transform business questions and reporting needs into reliable, scalable data products, dashboards, and analytical solutions that support decision-making across the organization.

The ideal candidate is someone who can comfortably move between writing complex SQL, developing compelling Tableau dashboards, working with data warehouses, partnering with business leaders, and managing the roadmap for business intelligence products.

If you enjoy turning complex data into clear, actionable information—and want to see your work directly influence how an organization operates—this could be an excellent opportunity for you.

What You'll Do

  • Partner with business stakeholders across the organization to understand, define, and prioritize reporting and analytics needs.
  • Translate business requirements into scalable data models, datasets, dashboards, and analytical solutions.
  • Develop complex SQL queries to extract, transform, validate, and analyze information from the enterprise data warehouse and cloud-based data environments.
  • Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards, reports, KPIs, scorecards, and self-service analytics using Tableau and Jaspersoft.
  • Ensure reporting solutions are accurate, consistent, user-friendly, and aligned with approved business requirements.
  • Reconcile development back to authoritative data sources and obtain appropriate stakeholder approval.
  • Monitor dashboard and report usage and performance to identify opportunities for improvement and increased adoption.
  • Identify opportunities to improve reporting capabilities and introduce advanced analytics.
  • Serve as the product owner for BI and analytics solutions, managing backlogs, roadmaps, priorities, enhancements, and delivery timelines.
  • Maintain service-level expectations for reporting and information requests.
  • Act as a trusted liaison between business users, data engineers, technical teams, and vendors.
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, integrity, and usability across reporting solutions.
  • Apply data reconciliation and validation methodologies to ensure reliable reporting across platforms.
  • Maintain documentation supporting development processes, data sources, business definitions, and reporting solutions.
  • Ensure reporting and analytical solutions are traceable to appropriate source data and maintain audit-ready documentation.
  • Maintain and support the organization's Jaspersoft reporting environment.
  • Perform upgrades, patching, troubleshooting, performance monitoring, and optimization of BI reporting platforms.
  • Manage and maintain content and security access within corporate business intelligence portals.
  • Support report scheduling, enterprise deployment processes, and reporting environment performance.
  • Collaborate with data engineers to optimize data pipelines, datasets, and reporting performance.
  • Provide end-user support and guidance for BI tools, dashboards, and reports.
  • Develop user documentation, training materials, and business intelligence resources.
  • Coordinate and conduct training sessions when needed.
  • Build strong relationships with business teams and help users understand how to effectively leverage data and analytics.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Equivalent combinations of education and relevant experience may be considered.
  • 5+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, Reporting Development, Analytics Engineering, or a related data-focused role.
  • 5+ years of experience with SQL Server, advanced SQL development, and extracting information from enterprise data warehouses.
  • Experience working with business stakeholders to translate business requirements into reporting and analytical solutions.

Experience in financial services, banking, or credit unions is preferred.
