Diesel Mechanic

Seeking multiple Diesel Mechanics to join our Rockhampton depot, working on a 7/7 roster.

This hands-on role involves maintaining and repairing a range of trucks, trailers, and fleet vehicles. You’ll be responsible for diagnostics, fault finding, servicing, and mechanical repairs across key systems including brakes, suspension, steering, and engines. • →7/7 rotating roster – 7 day shifts, 7 days off, 7 night shifts, 7 days off.
• →Perform diagnostics, fault finding, and repairs on trucks, trailers, and fleet vehicles.
• →Service and maintain brakes, suspension, steering systems, and engines.
• →Carry out welding and basic auto electrical work (12V/24V).
• →Order, replace, and maintain parts according to quality and safety standards.
• →Minimise fleet downtime by ensuring vehicles are roadworthy and fully operational.

• Trade-qualified Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanic with proven experience on trucks, trailers, and fleet vehicles.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills for mechanical and electrical systems (12V/24V).
• Attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality standards.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
