Provides leadership and operational oversight of the Occupational Health Unit while delivering occupational health nursing services, medical surveillance activities, emergency response, wellness initiatives, and workers' compensation case management.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day Health Unit operations.
  • Supervise nursing activities.
  • Conduct occupational health screenings.
  • Administer immunizations.
  • Perform audiometry and spirometry programs.
  • Manage workers' compensation cases.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, monthly, and annual reports.
  • Support pandemic monitoring and response.
  • Coordinate wellness and surveillance programs.

Requirements

  • Active Texas RN license.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Nursing.
  • Certified Occupational Health Nurse (COHN-S preferred/required for lead role).
  • CAOHC certification.
  • NIOSH Spirometry certification.
  • CPR/AED certification.
  • Occupational health management experience.
