As Contracts Manager at CFGI, you will be responsible for managing and negotiating commercial agreements that support the firm’s engagements and growth across the UK. Partnering closely with business leaders, delivery teams, and external counsel when required, you will manage contract creation, negotiation, and risk mitigation. 

Responsibilities

  • →Review, draft, and negotiate agreements with clients, vendors, partners, employees, and other counterparties, including MSAs, SOWs, NDAs, and vendor contracts.
  • →Develop and maintain standardised contract templates and playbooks, ensuring legal compliance and consistency.
  • →Oversee the contract lifecycle and approval processes, including coordination with external counsel where appropriate.
  • →Identify non-standard contractual provisions and provide practical recommendations to mitigate commercial and legal risk
  • →Continuously improve contracting processes to reduce turnaround times and support business growth, including the development of policies, procedures, and controls

Requirements

  • Minimum of 7 years within a contracts management or commercial contracts-focussed role
  • Proven experience across full contract lifecycle.
  • Strong understanding of legal frameworks and risk management practices across the UK, with the ability to balance risk and commercial objectives
  • Experience working within the UK.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in a multinational organisation or other complex international business environment.
  • Qualification as a Solicitor within England & Wales or similar Common Law jurisdiction
  • A clear and practical communicator who can explain complex contractual matters to senior stakeholders.
  • A structured and commercially minded problem-solver who can identify legal risks.
  • Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple contractual matters and competing priorities.
  • Collaborative and comfortable working with senior leadership and external counsel when required
  • Proactive and detail-oriented, with strong ownership of legal operations
