Litigation Paralegal

• →Assist attorneys with all aspects of case management, including deadlines, Resolution Disbursal Statements, and recommendations for cost and time

• →Manage timelines and deadlines for assigned cases

• →Meet with new and existing clients to discuss case expectations and provide updates

• →Draft legal documents for attorney review

• →Draft pleading, motions, and responses

• →Communicate regularly with clients, insurance adjusters, medical providers, and other case related parties

• →Communicate effectively with our internal records specialists and investigators to ensure the correct and complete investigative and medical records are obtained in a timely manner

• →Review cases’ medical records and assemble files

• →Prepare and submit correspondence

• →Enter detailed notes and keep cases updated in case management system (CMS)

• →Redact records

• →Propound discovery; assist with shell

• →e-File

• →Schedule depositions, trials, and hearings; coordinate with client

• →Trial prep, exhibits, motions, evidence, experts, etc.

• High school diploma or equivalent with at least 2 years’ experience in litigation

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail

• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and adapt quickly to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment and meet all deadlines

• Excellent organizational and communication skills

• Positive attitude and self-starter

• Personal injury case management experience

• Salesforce experience

• Bilingual in Spanish
