• Collaborate with other software developers to align on project goals, architecture, and delivery timelines.
• Implement and maintain scalable software solutions using PHP, balancing technical excellence with pragmatic solutions to deliver business value.
• Leverage GitOps, Kubernetes, and other cloud-native tools to streamline deployment and infrastructure management.
• Participate in architectural discussions, bringing forward innovative ideas and constructively challenging others’ proposals.
• Design and develop robust, secure, and highly available APIs for internal and external consumption.
• Build and maintain responsive, user-friendly frontend components and interfaces using React.
• Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure code quality, readability, and adherence to engineering best practices.
• Mentor and guide team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.
• Troubleshoot and debug complex issues in production environments, ensuring high availability of our distributed applications.
• Optimize application performance, database queries, and system architecture to support a rapidly growing global user base.

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with deep expertise in PHP and modern frontend frameworks, specifically React.
• Strong experience working with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and messaging/event-streaming platforms (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
• Proven track record in backend development, object-oriented programming, and designing scalable APIs.
• Hands-on experience building, maintaining, and scaling event-based distributed applications.
• Commitment to writing clean, readable code with strong version control and source code management skills using Git.
• Excellent collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and a willingness to embrace an open feedback culture.
