The Marketing Manager is a strategic and tactical leader responsible for driving marketing strategy, campaign execution, and brand stewardship across assigned hospitality properties. Working at the intersection of marketing, revenue management, and operations, this role translates property revenue goals into actionable, data-driven marketing and media plans.
The Marketing Manager serves as the primary marketing contact for Hotel General Managers and property owners while collaborating internally with Creative, Project Management, and Revenue teams to deliver cohesive online and offline brand experiences.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- Develop and execute annual multi-channel marketing and promotional strategies tailored to property seasonality, target market segments, and revenue goals.
- Direct media strategy across digital channels (paid search, paid social, display, meta-search) and traditional marketing touchpoints.
- Ensure absolute consistency in brand voice, messaging, and visual identity across both digital and physical touchpoints.
- Prepare, track, and optimize annual property marketing budgets to maximize ROI.
- Oversee marketing onboarding for new hotel developments, rebrandings, and management takeovers.
- Manage end-to-end launch collateral, brand story development, web asset creation, and foundational digital strategy for new properties.
- Act as the primary marketing liaison between internal teams (Creative, Revenue, Operations, Project Management), property leadership, vendors, and owners.
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with property owners, General Managers, and investment shareholders.
- Present annual marketing strategies, budget proposals, and performance reviews to key stakeholders.
- Keep executive leadership informed of property performance, strategic initiatives, and market challenges.
Compile and deliver monthly marketing performance reports, offering clear insights, key learnings, and strategic adjustments.
Maintain cross-functional knowledge of hospitality systems (PMS, CRS, POS) to align marketing tactics with inventory, pricing, and distribution strategies.
Leverage marketing technologies (CRM, CMS, Google Analytics, social platforms) to drive direct booking growth and customer retention.
Requirements
~1 min read- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
- Marketing Experience: Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in integrated marketing strategy and campaign oversight.
- Hospitality Experience: Minimum of 2 years of direct hospitality or hotel marketing experience required.
- Marketing Tech: Deep understanding of CRM platforms, Content Management Systems (CMS), web analytics, paid search/social advertising, and email marketing.
- Hospitality Tech: Working knowledge or high-level familiarity with Central Reservation Systems (CRS), Property Management Systems (PMS), and Point of Sale (POS) environments.
- Creative Eye: Strong visual taste and sharp attention to brand consistency and aesthetic details.
- Communication: Exceptional presentation, written, and verbal communication skills tailored for C-suite and owner-level interactions.
