Network Deployment Analyst

Position Overview

The Intermediate Network Deployment Analyst will support Charter's network deployment and migration initiatives at client sites. This role is responsible for assisting with the installation, configuration, testing, and migration of wired and wireless networking infrastructure as the client transitions from Aruba Networks to Juniper solutions. Working under the guidance of senior engineers, the successful candidate will contribute to deployment activities, troubleshoot issues, coordinate site tasks, and ensure project deliverables are completed on schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with planning and executing network deployment activities, including site preparation, equipment staging, and cutover support.
• Participate in after-hours and occasional weekend work during network migrations and maintenance windows.
• Coordinate day-to-day deployment activities with project teams and client stakeholders.
• Install, configure, and validate Juniper switching and wireless infrastructure across multiple client locations.
• Support migration activities from Aruba networking hardware and management platforms.
• Perform troubleshooting of Layer 1 through Layer 3 networking issues and escalate more complex incidents when required.
• Maintain accurate records of installations, configurations, testing results, and site documentation.
• Track and manage inventory of networking equipment and deployment materials.
• Provide regular status updates, identify risks or issues, and communicate progress to project leadership.

Required Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of experience supporting enterprise network deployments, installation, and operations.
• Juniper certification such as JNCIA-Junos or equivalent hands-on Juniper experience.
• Experience installing and configuring enterprise networking equipment, including switches and wireless access points.
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, VLANs, PoE, DHCP, DNS, routing, and wireless technologies.
• Ability to interpret network diagrams, deployment plans, and configuration templates.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills across physical and network layers.
• Experience working in corporate, campus, healthcare, government, or large enterprise environments.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel between deployment locations as required.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with Aruba Networks hardware and management platforms.
• Participation in network refresh, infrastructure modernization, or migration projects.
• Familiarity with Juniper Mist cloud management and wireless solutions.
• Experience supporting large-scale wireless deployments.
• Exposure to ticketing systems, change management processes, and project coordination activities.
• Knowledge of structured cabling standards and telecom room best practices.
