About the Role:As a Franchise Business Coach with College H.U.N.K.S. Hauling Junk & Moving, you’ll serve as a trusted business partner to a portfolio of franchise owners, helping them strengthen operations, accelerate revenue growth, improve profitability, and build healthy, sustainable businesses.

This is a highly collaborative, results-driven role for someone who knows how to turn data into action. You’ll work closely with franchise partners—both virtually and in the field—to analyze performance, identify opportunities, remove barriers, and create actionable plans that drive measurable improvement.

Through scorecard-based coaching, financial analysis, strategic planning, and consistent accountability, you’ll help franchise owners execute the fundamentals of the College H.U.N.K.S. Way while identifying opportunities to elevate their businesses. You’ll leverage best practices across operations, marketing, people, financial management, and customer experience to help each franchise partner maximize their potential.

Success in this role requires the ability to build strong relationships while also having candid conversations, challenging the status quo, and holding franchise partners accountable to agreed-upon goals and commitments. You’ll become a trusted resource who celebrates wins, identifies gaps, and helps franchise owners translate strategy into consistent execution.

Ultimately, your success will be measured by the success of the franchise partners you support—their growth, profitability, operational excellence, and ability to consistently deliver the signature WOW experience our clients expect.

What You'll Do
·         Serve as a trusted business coach and strategic resource for a portfolio of franchise locations (portfolio size varies by region, typically 25–36 locations).
·         Complete the FBC readiness plan and take full ownership of your portfolio within 30 days of hire.
·         Coach franchise partners toward measurable improvements in revenue, profitability, cash flow, operational performance, and customer experience.
·         Drive accountability through scorecard-based coaching, clearly defined action plans, and consistent follow-through aligned with the College H.U.N.K.S. Way.
·         Analyze key business and financial performance indicators to identify trends, opportunities, and barriers to growth.
·         Review and interpret financial statements, including P&Ls and cash flow statements, and translate insights into practical recommendations.
·         Leverage CHHJ's KPI dashboards and AI-assisted coaching tools to prioritize opportunities, track franchisee commitments, and personalize coaching conversations.
·         Partner with franchise owners to develop annual financial forecasts and business plans incorporating historical performance, system benchmarks, and brand goals.
·         Conduct regular on-site coaching visits to assess operations firsthand, strengthen relationships, and accelerate performance improvement.
·         Lead structured weekly coaching sessions ("Huddles") with each franchise partner, following a consistent format for accountability and follow-through.
·         Coach franchise partners on best practices across operations, marketing, talent, customer experience, and financial management.
·         Identify individual and systemic obstacles to franchisee success and proactively partner with internal teams to develop solutions.
·         Monitor portfolio health and escalate at-risk locations early using defined financial and operational warning signs, so intervention starts well before a location is in crisis.
·         Own the pre-opening readiness and onboarding process for newly awarded franchise partners within your portfolio, ensuring financial and operational readiness before launch.
·         Participate in new franchisee training and support the continued development of training programs, tools, and resources.
·         Collaborate with fellow Franchise Business Coaches to share insights, identify trends, and connect franchise partners with internal subject matter experts.
·         Contribute to the continued evolution of brand standards and best practices by documenting field insights and providing actionable feedback.
·         Maintain timely and thorough documentation of franchisee interactions, commitments, and follow-up activities within FranConnect.
·         Contribute to team priorities, quarterly initiatives, operations manual development, and other strategic projects.
·         Perform other duties as assigned.

What you’ll bring
·         Franchise experience required, as a franchise owner, franchise general manager, or franchise field consultant/business coach. Bachelor’s degree preferred; an equivalent combination of education and 4+ years of relevant experience will be considered.
·         Experience owning or coaching to a P&L in a multi-unit service business; home services, moving, or junk removal experience strongly preferred.
·         Demonstrated ability to coach, influence, and hold business owners or operational leaders accountable for results.
·         Strong business and financial acumen, including the ability to interpret P&Ls, cash flow statements, KPIs, and other performance data, and to build financial forecasts and business plans with franchise partners.
·         Strong communication, facilitation, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to establish credibility and trust.
·         An analytical and solutions-oriented mindset with the ability to diagnose performance challenges and translate findings into actionable plans.
·         Strong project and time management skills with the ability to successfully manage multiple franchise partners, priorities, and deadlines.
·         Confidence navigating challenging conversations, influencing without direct authority, and gaining commitment to action.
·         Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
·         Comfort working within CRM, KPI dashboard, and AI-assisted coaching platforms to track franchisee performance and commitments; experience with FranConnect and Harmonyze is a plus.
·         Working knowledge of grassroots and digital marketing strategies and their impact on local business performance.
·         A continuous-improvement mindset and genuine passion for helping entrepreneurs and business owners succeed.
·         Ability to operate within a standardized coaching framework and cadence while tailoring approach to individual franchisee needs.
·         Ability to ramp quickly: learn new systems, data, and franchise relationships fast enough to own a portfolio within the first 30 days.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
·         This role requires regular travel to support franchise partners in the field, including driving 100+ miles when necessary and overnight travel approximately one week per month. Travel frequency may vary based on business needs and the locations within the assigned franchise portfolio.
