Psychiatric Rehabilitation Worker

As a Psychiatric Rehabilitation Worker, you'll work directly with individuals experiencing mental health and behavioral health challenges, helping them develop the skills, confidence, and supports needed to live productive, successful lives.

• →
  Provide recovery‑oriented psychiatric rehabilitation services based on individualized service plans
• →
  Support consumers with daily living skills, medication education, budgeting, self‑care, and supportive counseling
• →Maintain a small caseload (4–5 consumers) while promoting independence and personal growth
• →Accompany consumers to medical appointments and complete daily van runs
• →Meet regularly with individuals in their homes, schools, and community settings
• →Build trusting relationships that encourage personal growth and success
• →Assist clients in overcoming barriers that may interfere with their ability to live productive and fulfilling lives
• →Administer medications in accordance with DPW standards
• →Respond appropriately to crises and support healthy relationships
• →Complete required documentation and maintain compliance with 2600 regulations
• →Collaborate with program staff while working independently as needed
• →Assist with light housekeeping, meals, and other hands‑on support as required

• Associate’s Degree or Bachelor's Degree with at least 1 year of experience in a human services‑related field
• Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered
• Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply

• PA Criminal Clearance
• PA Child Abuse Clearance (if applicable)
• FBI Fingerprint Clearance
• Valid Driver’s License
• Not listed on any Medicaid/Medicare Exclusion lists
