• 4 years of experience in diagnostic imaging equipment repair

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering

• Associate of Science or equivalent in Biomedical Technology or related field

• No professional certifications required

• Proficient in various hardware/software applications and equipment database programs
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Must be detailed oriented and have excellent follow through skills

• →Ensures proper maintenance of all imaging equipment, including warranty, leased, and loaner equipment.
• →Diagnoses problems, repairs to circuit board level, and re-calibrates equipment.
• →Tracks, schedules, and completes preventive maintenance checks by due dates.
• →Maintains ongoing active communications with clinicians regarding equipment status.
• →Coordinates outside repairs with radiology equipment manufacturers.
• →Assists in or performs incident investigations.
• →Ensures equipment is properly tested before being returned to service.
