We are looking for smart, data-driven, relationship-focused Account Managers to help scale and optimize our vendor network.

Role Overview

As an Account Manager at Chowdeck, you will be responsible for managing and growing relationships with restaurant partners in your assigned city. Your primary focus will be on driving vendor performance across revenue, operational efficiency, visibility, and customer satisfaction.

You will act as the main point of contact between Chowdeck and its restaurant partners, ensuring they maximize value from the platform.

Key Responsibilities

1. Vendor Relationship Management

  • Serve as the primary contact for assigned restaurant partners.
  • Build strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers.
  • Conduct regular check-ins (physical and virtual).
  • Resolve operational and commercial issues promptly.

2. Revenue & Growth Optimization

  • Drive vendor GMV growth through:
    • Menu optimization
    • Promotions and discount strategies
    • Upsell and cross-sell opportunities
    • Visibility campaigns
  • Monitor weekly/monthly sales performance.
  • Identify underperforming vendors and implement turnaround plans.

3. Operational Excellence

  • Monitor prep time, cancellation rate, and customer complaints.
  • Ensure compliance with Chowdeck operational standards.
  • Improve order acceptance rate and reduce downtime.
  • Work closely with operations and support teams to resolve escalations.

4. Data & Reporting

  • Analyze vendor performance data to generate actionable insights.
  • Present periodic performance reports to vendors.
  • Track KPIs including:
    • Orders
    • GMV
    • Revenue
    • Conversion rate
    • Rating
    • Preparation time
    • Cancellation rate

5. Expansion & Upselling

  • Identify opportunities to onboard additional branches.
  • Drive adoption of new Chowdeck features and products.
  • Support marketing activations and campaigns.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Vendor GMV growth (week-on-week / month-on-month)
  • Order volume growth
  • Reduction in cancellation rate
  • Vendor retention rate
  • Net revenue growth
  • Customer rating improvement
  • Promotion adoption rate

Requirements

  • 2–4 years of experience in account management, sales, growth, or vendor management.
  • Experience in food delivery, marketplaces, SaaS, or FMCG is a strong advantage.
  • Strong analytical skills (comfortable with dashboards and performance metrics).
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously.
  • Highly organized and execution-driven.
  • Strong problem-solving mindset.
