As a HR & Accounting Manager (m/f/d), you will play a key role in shaping and developing our HR and financial processes in Spain. You will take ownership of both operational and strategic topics related to people management, payroll, accounting, and compliance, helping to build strong foundations for further growth.

In this role, you combine organizational excellence with analytical thinking, ensuring our employees are well supported and financial processes are managed efficiently and accurately.

Office: Spain/Barcelona

• Oversee all HR processes in Spain, from recruiting and onboarding to employee lifecycle management and offboarding.

• Act as a trusted partner to managers and employees on HR policies, labor law, and people-related topics.

• Coordinate payroll preparation in collaboration with external providers.

• Maintain employee records, contracts, and other HR documentation.

• Support the organization of internal events, HR initiatives, and employee activities.

• Manage correspondence with companies regarding Spanish occupational health and safety requirements.

• Manage day-to-day accounting activities, including reconciliations, invoice processing, and payments.

• Support monthly and annual closing processes and act as the primary contact for correspondence with tax advisors.

• Assist in the preparation of financial reports, analyses, and forecasts for management.

• Continuously improve finance processes and implement efficient systems and tools.

• Manage and review travel expense reimbursements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.

• Provide administrative support across HR and office operations, including coordination of HR events and day-to-day office tasks.

• Assist with general office management and ensure smooth administrative workflows.

• Collaborate closely with international teams across Finance, Operations, and Leadership to support cross-functional initiatives.

Requirements

  • Several years of experience in HR and/or accounting, ideally within an international company.
  • Solid knowledge of Spanish labor law and tax regulations.
  • Experience with accounting and HR systems and strong proficiency in MS Office or similar tools.
  • Structured, detail-oriented, and solution-driven working style with high ownership.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • High level of discretion and integrity when handling confidential information.
  • Fluent Spanish and English skills, both written and spoken; additional languages are a plus.
  • Ability to prioritize and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong team player with a collaborative mindset.
  • Interest in continuous learning and professional development.
  • Motivation to work in a flexible and dynamic environment.
