Senior Financial Analyst – FP&A, Fuel

Deliver accurate financial insights, reporting, and analysis that support commercial decisions, financial control, and long-term value creation across fuel and related business activities.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

Here is what we are looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related discipline.
• A professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent), or active pursuit of one, is an asset.

• 1–3 years of experience in FP&A, commercial finance, financial analysis, accounting, or a related finance role.
• Experience supporting budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting processes.
• Experience working with large datasets and translating analysis into business insights.
• Experience in fuel retail, convenience retail, B2B, EV, logistics, or supply chain environments is an asset but is not required.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Excel, including financial modelling and data analysis.
• Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and management reporting.
• Ability to interpret complex data and clearly communicate findings to both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Organized, structured, and detail-oriented.
• Comfortable working with ambiguity and adapting to changing business needs.
• Collaborative team player who builds strong relationships across functions.

• Advanced proficiency in both French and English, spoken and written, is required. The person in this role will regularly work and communicate in English while performing the responsibilities described above, including collaborating with global teams.
