Technician, Supplier Revenue

THE ROLE

Under the supervision of the Senior Manager, Supplier Revenues, and as part of the Accounting team, the Supplier Revenue Technician provides valuable support to the Merchandising team by ensuring the follow-up of accounts receivable, billing of commercial agreements, recording of transactions, and account reconciliations. The incumbent works closely with Merchandising teams, Supplier Revenue Analysts, and Category Managers across our various divisions throughout Canada.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

·         Monitor accounts receivable aging at period-end.

·         Record and issue monthly and quarterly billings to suppliers.

·         Follow up on supplier deductions.

·         Collaborate with Supplier Revenue Analysts and Category Managers.

·         Monitor payments and accounts receivable balances.

·         Provide and validate suppliers’ banking information when required.

·         Maintain accurate documentation and support account reconciliation activities.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

We want you to join our team! Here's what we're looking for:

• DEC in accounting ;

• Two (2) years of relevant accounting or store experience;

• Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word.
• Strong attention to detail, ability to work independently, demonstrate initiative, and take a proactive approach to problem-solving and follow-up activities.
• Ability to effectively manage priorities while meeting deadlines.

Bilingualism required (Advanced French and English) both spoken and written, as the person will be required to work and communicate regularly in English while performing the tasks outlined above. Specifically, the role requires collaboration with global teams.
