Facility Maintenance Technician III

Job Summary:

Under direct supervision, the purpose of this position is to perform journeyman level repairs and maintenance on public buildings involving HVAC, electrical, plumbing or carpentry. Performs duties requiring functional skills in carpentry, painting, plumbing, brick and concrete masonry, metal work, plastics, vinyl wall and floor coverings, dry wall, plaster, acoustical ceiling and wall treatments necessary in the maintenance of all buildings. This position may include service or duties different from those performed in the usual course and scope of your job during emergency situations for the benefit of the general public. Must be able to perform duties according to detailed instructions in strict adherence to prescribed standards, procedures and safety. Reports to Operations Manager.

Minimum Qualifications:

Valid Texas Class "C" Driver's License.

High school diploma or GED required.

Possess at least 3-5 years of experience in all phases of building trades and maintenance field.

Must be able to work nights, weekends and emergencies depending on programs, events and needs.

Salary:

Starting Salary $20.82 per hour.
