Maintenance Assistant

The Cheddi Jagan International Airport Corporation (CJIA) is inviting suitably qualified and motivated individuals to apply for the position of Maintenance Assistant.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with general maintenance tasks across the airport premises
• Support routine inspections, minor repairs, and upkeep of facilities
• Work collaboratively with the Maintenance and Operations teams
• Respond promptly to assigned maintenance requests or tasks
• Ensure tools and equipment are properly used and maintained
  

Requirements:

• Must be physically able-bodied and capable of performing manual tasks
• Possess a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and team spirit
• Completed secondary school education
• Basic computer literacy would be considered an asset 
• Prior experience in general maintenance or related work would be advantageous

• Willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if required
