Receiving Associate

• →Unloading of all incoming trucks using a stand-up forklift or pallet jack. 
• →Sorting, counting, and verifying good condition of goods received. 
• →Locate packing slips and verify correct quantities. 
• →Document each shipment properly; noting any damages on the packing slip and the freight bill prior to the driver's leaving the dock. 
• →Transfer merchandise to the warehouse using a stand-up forklift or pallet jack. 
• →Check in UPS returns and damaged goods. 
• →Maintain cleanliness in assigned areas. 
• →Maintain cleanliness and good working order of all assigned equipment. 
• →Comply with all safety and compliance standards set forth by Cohere. 
• →Communicate effectively with others. 
• →Perform other duties as assigned.  

• →High School or equivalent. 
• →Experience with RF equipment. 
• →PC and Microsoft Office experience. 
• → Ability to read and understand packing slips. 
• →Knowledge of verifying counts on pallets. 
• →Basic math, reading, and legible handwriting. 
• →Inventory control knowledge/ transfer adjustment knowledge. 
• →Ability to read, write, and speak English competently.  
• →Ability to work on-site. 
• →Ability to maintain reliable and predictable attendance. 
• → Forklift license or training (preferred). 
• →AS400 experience (preferred).   

The Receiving Associate is responsible for unloading merchandise, verifying quantities and item numbers, and distributing merchandise to the appropriate department and location.
