Join the Leader in Brain and Mental Health
At BrainMD, we’re on a mission to become the most trusted authority in brain health.
We’ve analyzed nearly 300,000 brain scans and developed science-backed formulas designed to support how the brain actually works. Now we’re looking for a copywriter who can take that science—and turn it into clear, compelling, high-converting content.
We’re looking for someone who can think like a strategist, research like a scientist, and write like a top-tier marketer.
This is a hands-on, execution-focused role.
About the Position:
You’ll be responsible for turning complex clinical research into compelling, consumer-friendly messaging across multiple channels—from product pages and emails to campaigns and educational content.
You should be someone who doesn’t wait for direction. You dig, question, synthesize, and own your work from idea to execution.
You’ll work as part of our creative team under the Content Manager, partnering closely with designers to bring high-performing content to life.
What You’ll Do:
• Translate clinical research, studies, and ingredient science into clear, engaging, and compliant marketing copy
• Write high-converting emails, landing pages, PDPs, and campaign assets
• Research ingredients, trends, and emerging science in brain health
• Identify the real customer problem and position products as the solution
• Collaborate with the Content Manager and broader creative team, as well as marketing, product, and clinical partners—while still operating with a high level of autonomy
• Balance creativity with compliance (DSHEA guidelines, structure/function claims, etc.)
• Continuously optimize messaging based on performance and insights
Who You Are:
• A self-starter who takes initiative and doesn’t need handholding
Naturally curious—you enjoy going down research rabbit holes and finding the why behind claims
• Comfortable reading and interpreting clinical studies (or excited to learn quickly)
• Able to turn complex ideas into simple, compelling, benefit-driven messaging
• Both analytical and creative—you care about conversion, not just clever copy
• Detail-oriented and organized, with strong ownership over your work
• Thrive in a collaborative creative environment and are open to feedback and iteration
What You’ve Done:
• 3–7+ years of copywriting or content marketing experience (health, wellness, supplements, or science-backed brands preferred)
• Proven experience writing conversion-focused copy (email, landing pages, product pages, social media)
• Experience working with regulated industries or compliance frameworks is a plus
• Familiarity with research, studies, or evidence-based marketing is a strong plus
Bonus Points If You…
• Have written for supplement or functional medicine brands
• Understand brain health, nootropics, or nutrition science
• Have experience translating clinical data into marketing claims
• Are comfortable using AI tools to enhance research and output
Why This Role Matters
The wellness space is full of noise, misinformation, and overhyped claims.
We’re building something different, a brand rooted in real science, real data, and real results.
Your job is to help us communicate that in a way that people not only understand, but trust and act on.
