Community Warden

Location: Norwich – Reed House – covering Norwich and surrounding areas

Salary: £25,179 - £32,907 per annum     

Hours: 36 hours per week – flexible options considered                 

Contract Type: Permanent

We are recruiting for a Community Warden to join our team in Norwich on a permanent basis supporting Estates, Repairs and the Neighbourhood team.

You’ll be providing a local responsive service to tenants ensuring estates are free from litter, graffiti and are well kept.  You’ll be supporting the Neighbourhood Teams ensuring new tenants are settled in, tenancy conditions are met, responding to urgent situations and reporting on repair needs. You’ll carry out thorough regular inspections and liaise with estate contractors, residents and teams ensuring that estates and communal areas are maintained to the highest standard.

We’re looking for someone with experience of customer service in a Housing environment who has excellent communication skills and the ability to plan their own workload.  You’ll have the proven ability to engage with service users and experience in negotiation and resolving conflict along with good IT skills and you must hold a full UK Drivers License.

You’ll need to have a positive approach, good problem solving skills and be able to work on your own initiative putting our residents at the heart of our service delivery.

You will be required to attend meetings and training at the Norwich and March office on occasions.
