The Accounts Receivable Analyst is responsible for maintaining the integrity of accounts receivable by ensuring the accuracy of assigned customer accounts, including collections, cash application, chargebacks, overpayments, and customer requirements. This individual will collaborate with various departments for documentation, reporting, education and to ensure the accuracy of customer accounts.

Build relationships with customers, manage collections, and ensure timely payments

Process cash receipts, resolve payment issues, and update the ERP system

Track chargeback data, close transactions, and update records daily
- →
Maintain cash tracking spreadsheets for reporting and reconciliation
- →
Investigate and dispute payment deductions, collaborating with other departments as needed
- →
Classify chargebacks, update records, and work with accounting to review accruals
- →
Ensure invoices meet customer requirements for direct import shipments
- →
Process adjustments like shortages, pricing issues, and freight discrepancies
- →
Identify customer trends and provide support for credit evaluations
- →
Help train team members and provide backup support

Prepare regular and special customer reports

Assist with other projects as needed
A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field is required; equivalent cumulative and progressive work experience will be considered in lieu of degree
Minimum of 0 - 2 years of relevant, preferably in a manufacturing organization with retail Customer interaction
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel is required
Experience with ERP or similar database programs is preferred
Strong attention to detail
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Organizational and time management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
