Order Expediting Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented Order Expediting Specialist to monitor unshipped and unbilled orders, ensure timely follow-ups with suppliers, and support customers, sales teams, and internal stakeholders. This role plays a key part in maintaining order accuracy, resolving shipping issues, and ensuring invoices are processed efficiently.

• →Track and follow up on unshipped and unbilled orders using internal systems and Excel
• →Contact suppliers to confirm ship dates and resolve order or shipping issues
• →Respond to customer and sales inquiries related to order status and delays
• →

  Maintain and manage shared inbox and order follow-up systems daily

• →Monitor prepay and rush orders, ensuring timely updates and coordination with billing
• →Generate reports and track aging purchase orders to ensure timely processing
• →Research and resolve discrepancies related to orders, billing, and production schedules
• →Communicate supplier updates, backorders, and issues to internal teams
• →

  Ensure timely invoicing and follow-through on order completion

• →

  Contribute to process improvements and support team workflow

• At least 1 to 2 years of experience in order processing, customer service, or a related field

• Strong data entry accuracy and attention to detail

• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook and basic Excel (intermediate skills a plus)

• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities

• Effective communication and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

• Detail-oriented with strong follow-up skills

• Team player with a proactive mindset
