IT Support Specialist

Do you enjoy solving technology problems, helping people, and working in a hands-on environment?

We're looking for an IT Support Specialist to provide frontline technical support to employees across four municipal organizations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, wants to make a direct impact, and doesn't want to sit behind a desk all day.

Important: This is a fully on-site position. You'll regularly travel between four city locations to support employees, troubleshoot issues, deploy equipment, and help keep essential public services running smoothly. Remote work is not available.

• →Respond to help desk tickets and technical support requests
• →Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and mobile device issues
• →Deploy and configure desktops, laptops, printers, and other technology
• →Support Microsoft Windows, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and related systems
• →Assist with video conferencing, VoIP phones, and access control systems
• →Work directly with employees to deliver outstanding customer service
• →Help maintain secure, reliable technology environments

• Associate degree in Information Technology or equivalent experience
• At least 2 years of desktop support, help desk, or IT support experience
• Experience supporting Windows environments
• Strong troubleshooting and customer service skills
• Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, connectivity troubleshooting, etc.)
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel between city locations

• A+, Network+, MCP, or similar certifications
• Experience with Active Directory, PowerShell, VMware, or Microsoft 365 administration
