Salesforce Sr. Developer (all regions)

A technical delivery role that is highly skilled in Salesforce development technologies to build elegant custom Salesforce functions and apps while closely collaborating with the client and delivery team.

The Salesforce Sr. Developers are responsible for building and enhancing custom Salesforce solutions and apps using the most current Salesforce development platforms and tools. Additionally, the Sr. Developers are acting as technical leads that drive best practice custom development functions while participating in business requirements sessions, and provide quality assurance and full cycle testing across development and data integration efforts. The Sr. Developers will work closely with the delivery team and with clients to understand their business challenges, data integration needs and recommend solution options. From those sessions, Sr. Developers will work with their delivery team to suggest and support best practice prototypes and options for the clients to view during iterative and interactive prototyping and design sessions. As needed, the Sr. Developers will produce technical documentation around any custom code.

As a Certified Salesforce individual, the Sr. Developers should very comfortably and confidently present best practice custom solutions that have the highest long term business impact for our clients. The Sr. Developer has deep expertise designing, building and testing Salesforce custom functionality and apps while being a technical liaison between delivery teams as well as client facing IT teams during the implementation phase.

• →Custom design, development, and testing using Salesforce development tools
• →Work collaboratively with delivery team to understand customer business objectives and requirements and recommend best practice functional component design
• →Provides technical support and expert input in during estimation and proposal stages
• →Acts as the trusted technical advisor to delivery team
• →Validate technical recommendations against customer business requirements
• →Offer best practice suggestions for various custom development options from design sessions within Salesforce and AppExchange products, or other cloud-based technologies
• →Delivery solution quality assurance and unit and cycle testing

• Hands on experience developing custom functions and apps using the latest Salesforce development tools including Apex, Visualforce, Lightning among others
• Dedicated problem solver focused on building high impact business solutions and apps using the Salesforce platform
• Self-starter and team player passionate about using the latest cloud technologies
• Detail-oriented individual with the ability to quickly ramp up on new Salesforce platform technologies and tools
• Good communication (written and verbal) skills, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks within a highly collaborative team environment
• Demonstrates flexibility and willingness to do what it takes to get the job done
• Officially hold at 2+ current Salesforce development certifications
• Studies and/or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS, DBA or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 3+ years of experience as a Developer or technical System Administrator for a mid-to-large sized organization coding with cloud-based technologies
• Knowledgeable with enterprise integration tools and extract, transformation and load (ETL) tools
• Located and able to work in the U.S. from a home office and able to travel occasionally
• Must be authorized to work for any U.S. employer
