Pilates Instructor (Casual)

• Certification through Club Pilates or a comparable education program 

• Excellent customer service skills required 

• Must be able to demonstrate effective group reformer instruction 

• Excellent interpersonal skills required 

• Must communicate professionally and effectively with clients and colleagues 

• Must have excellent public speaking skills 

• Must have proficient computer skills 

• Valid WA driver's licence, proof of insurance, and access to reliable transportation. Must have a clean driving record and successfully pass a National Police Check. Occasional travel between locations may be required.

• Must be able to stoop, kneel, bend, reach, stand, walk, push, pull, lift, work with fingers, grasp, feel, talk, hear, and perform repetitive motions 

• Must be able to lift 20 lbs (approx. 9 kg) and move/push equipment as needed 

• Visual acuity required 

• Must be able to stand for extended periods

  Provide Pilates classes, including group reformer classes, per Club Pilates standards and scheduled times (e.g. learning names, checking for injuries, cueing exercises) 

• →

  Skilled and safe use of a variety of equipment during each class, including hand weights, Exo-Chair, Reformer, Springboard and other equipment as needed for a safe, engaging group experience

  May be required to conduct private, semi-private, or additional sessions as needed 

• →

  Visually inspect equipment before each class to confirm it's in good working order and safe to use

  Responsible for studio upkeep, including cleaning the floor after each shift and leaving equipment in the required configuration for the next shift

  Other duties as assigned
