Geotechnical Engineer

We are looking to bring on a motivated and hands-on Geotechnical Engineer with 2+ years of experience to join our talented team in Hamilton.

Our range of projects are diverse across countries and offices: You will contribute to a diverse range of projects across key sectors including land development, energy, transport, and infrastructure, working alongside a collaborative and high-performing team of geotechnical professionals. 

• →Assist in the delivery of technical and operational activities, working under the guidance of senior professionals and accessing training and support as required.
• →Contribute to the development of geotechnical solutions by applying engineering and geological knowledge gained through study and practical experience.
• →Undertake site investigations, field testing, data collection and analysis, and prepare design inputs and technical reports.
• →Support project delivery across all stages, collaborating with senior team members to achieve project objectives and client outcomes.

• A Civil Engineering Degree
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Geotechnical Engineer part of a consultancy
• Experience in land development preferred 
• Field-related experience 
• Previous exposure to proposal preparation and technical report writing
• A full New Zealand drivers license
• Good interpersonal skills
• Exceptional organisation and communication skills, both verbal and written
