CNS Group is seeking an experienced Processing Plant Manager to oversee mineral processing operations within a mining project in Madagascar. The role is responsible for managing plant performance, optimizing production efficiency, and ensuring cost-effective operations. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in gold processing (CIL/CIP), leadership skills, and the ability to work in a multicultural environment. This role is open to Tanzanian professionals willing to relocate.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Oversee daily operations of the mineral processing plant.
- →Manage and optimize gold processing operations (CIL/CIP).
- →Ensure production targets are met efficiently and cost-effectively.
- →Monitor plant performance and implement process improvements.
- →Lead and manage plant personnel, ensuring high performance and safety standards.
- →Develop and implement operational strategies to improve productivity.
- →Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
- →Control operational costs and improve plant efficiency.
- →Coordinate with engineering and maintenance teams for smooth operations.
- →Prepare operational reports and performance analysis.
- →Foster a positive and productive multicultural working environment.
Requirements
~1 min read- Bachelor's Degree in Metallurgy, Mineral Processing, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
- 7+ years of experience managing a mineral processing plant (preferably gold).
- Strong knowledge of gold processing methods such as CIL/CIP.
- Proven leadership and team management experience.
- Strong organizational and operational management skills.
- Ability to optimize production and control costs.
- Experience working in a multicultural environment.
- Fluency in English and/or French (both preferred).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to relocate and work in Madagascar.
