Responsibilities

Prepare monthly credit card journal entries for the Company and employees.
Map transactions to proper general ledger accounts and departments.
Reconcile balances and upload Netsuite journal entries.

Prepare weekly and monthly cash journal entries.
Reconcile general ledger balances to the bank balance monthly.

Assist in month-end close cash and related tasks.
Prepare and update procedure documentation and journal entries.

Prepare data and respond to ad-hoc information requests.

Provide explanations for account fluctuations and investigate their causes.

Fundamental understanding of key accounting concepts:
- Accounting equation, debits and credits, financial statements (income statement, balance sheet, statement of cash flows).
Proficiency in Excel:
- Advanced formulas (lookup, index match, pivot table).
- Comfortable with large data sets.

General ledger accounting experience and/or financial statement audit experience.
Degree in Business Administration or Accounting, or equivalent work experience.
