Dramapops is a short drama app delivering addictive, vertical storytelling to millions of viewers worldwide. We produce fast, emotional, binge-worthy series built for mobile and we're scaling fast. Dramapops is one of the fast-growing apps at Codeway, a studio behind multiple top-charting mobile products, so you'll be joining a creative org with real range and momentum.
In our category, marketing is the growth engine ; the majority of the budget goes to user acquisition, and creative is the single biggest lever on what an install costs us. We already have compelling content and strong analytical and attribution infrastructure. The Marketing Artist is the person who turns that content into ads that win the first three seconds and bring millions of new viewers in profitably. Your work isn't decoration around the campaign ; it is the campaign.
Responsibilities

Produce video ads and marketing creatives for paid channels (Meta, TikTok, YouTube) that drive installs and subscriptions in volume, as testable concept pools, not one-offs.

Cut raw footage and scenes from our drama series into high-performing assets: hooks, trailers, episodic and paywall-bridge cuts.

Use AI video tools to generate, direct, and refine footage and bring new tools and techniques back to the team.

Work directly off performance and attribution data with the growth team to iterate winners, kill losers fast, and find new creative angles.
- →
Own the metrics your work moves hook/thumb-stop rate, CTR, CPI, ROAS and come back with sharper ideas, not just reports.

Adapt and repurpose assets across formats, platforms, aspect ratios, and market localizations.
- →
Stay ahead of short-form trends across TikTok and Reels and translate them into things we can ship this week.
- →
Take creative concepts from brief to final delivery independently.

Experience. 2+ years producing video creative, ideally performance/UA creative for mobile apps or short-form content.

A reel. A portfolio of paid-social or UA creative you've made, bonus if you can speak to how it performed.

Know-how. Hands-on command of Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, and CapCut.

Motion design fundamentals. Real command of After Effects beyond cuts and captions , compositing, animation, retiming, and templating for scale.

AI fluency. Real hands-on experience generating and directing footage with AI video tools, and the instinct to multitask across their generation wait times.

Versatility. You adapt your craft to different brands, tones, and audiences, and ramp quickly on new products and styles.

Data-driven creativity. You sharpen creative with performance insight, not gut feeling alone and you're comfortable letting the data kill your favorite cut.

Visual instinct. Strong sense of pacing, composition, and what makes a hook actually land.

Ownership & adaptability. You take work from brief to delivery, thrive in fast feedback loops, iterate, and move on.
