Aggregate Plant Loader Operator - Barrett Paving Materials - Mid-Ohio

The Aggregate Plant Loader Operator safely operates front-end loaders and other mobile equipment to support aggregate production, maintain material flow, and provide excellent customer service through accurate truck loading and efficient stockpile management. This position plays a key role in maintaining safe, productive, and reliable plant operations.

• →Safely operate front-end loaders to move, stockpile, blend, and load aggregate materials.
• →Load customer trucks accurately and efficiently.
• →Build, maintain, and manage aggregate stockpiles.
• →Conduct daily pre-operational and post-operational inspections of equipment.
• →Monitor equipment performance and report mechanical issues promptly.
• →Perform routine preventive maintenance, including lubrication & fluid checks.
• →Maintain clean and safe work areas around plant and stockpile locations.
• →Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and MSHA regulations.
• →Communicate with plant personnel and truck drivers to ensure efficient operations.
• →Provide courteous, professional customer service while maintaining safe loading practices.

• Previous front-end loader experience in aggregate, mining, quarry, construction, or heavy industrial environments preferred.
• Knowledge of safe loading practices and material handling procedures.
• Ability to perform daily equipment inspections and basic preventive maintenance.
• Strong safety record and commitment to safe work practices.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Mechanical aptitude preferred.
• Ability to work extended hours, weekends, and seasonal schedules as needed.

• Ability to safely climb equipment ladders and access operator cabs.
• Ability to sit and operate equipment for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to work in dusty, noisy, and high-traffic industrial environments.
• Ability to maintain situational awareness and react quickly to changing conditions.
