Barrett Paving Materials is seeking a Shop Mechanic to join our team in Liverpool NY.

Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Perform maintenance and repairs on various construction equipment.
- →Collaborate with the Shop Manager to ensure all equipment is functioning properly with all safety measures in place and operational.
- →Support the Shop Manager in ensuring that all equipment operates in full compliance with environmental regulations related to maintenance.
- →Work with the Shop Manager to uphold the highest safety standards during all maintenance operations performed and/or observed.
- →Execute tasks on equipment independently, without direct supervision.
- →Diagnose and repair a range of issues associated with mobile equipment.
- →Assist in collecting data for maintenance databases.
- Strong coordination and communication skills.
- Proficient in hands-on work.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work outdoors in challenging conditions.
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
Requirements
~1 min read- 10 years of experience with diesel truck and/or heavy equipment
- AC Certification
- ASE Certification
- NYS Inspection License
