Senior Operation Engineer

• →Offer expertise on how the new system will function on a day-to-day basis, influencing the design to ensure it supports smooth, safe, and efficient operations.
• →Incorporate maintenance needs into the design, ensuring assets and equipment can be easily maintained, repaired, and renewed throughout their lifecycle.
• →Critically review technical designs, specifications, and proposals, providing feedback to ensure they meet operational and maintenance requirements. 
• →Identify, assess, and propose mitigation strategies for risks related to asset failures, operational processes, and system functionality that may arise from the design.
• →Work closely with project managers, designers, and other technical disciplines to integrate O&M needs into the broader project strategy and plans.
• →Develop and execute the operation and maintenance management plans, standards and manuals to ensure the successful adoption of operational excellence methodologies and practices
• →Foster a culture of continuous improvement by promoting best practices, lessons learned, and knowledge sharing across the organization.
• →Contribute to the development of operational concepts, ensuring they align with the design and meet transit agency requirements.
