Reporting to the Director of Global Brand Marketing, this role will be responsible for translating Cole Haan’s global brand strategy into actionable marketing programs across international markets and licensed categories. The Manager will ensure our brand is represented consistently and impactfully around the world, while allowing for thoughtful localization based on market needs, consumer behaviors, cultural moments, and commercial priorities.
This individual will be a highly collaborative, organized, and globally minded marketer who can effectively manage multiple stakeholders, markets, and workstreams while serving as a trusted steward of the Cole Haan brand.
The Manager, International + Licensed Marketing will create a stronger connection between global brand strategy and local market execution, ensuring international teams, distribution partners, and licensees have the direction, assets, and support they need to successfully represent Cole Haan.
Success in this role means greater global consistency, stronger local-market activation, more effective amplification of brand partnerships, increased integration of licensed categories, and a seamless flow of communication between Cole Haan’s New York headquarters and its partners around the world.
- Act as a global brand steward, ensuring Cole Haan is represented consistently across international markets and licensed categories.
- Serve as the primary marketing liaison between Cole Haan’s Headquarters and regional marketing teams and distribution partners globally.
- Translate global brand strategies, campaigns, product stories, and seasonal priorities into clear, actionable direction for international markets.
- Lead the distribution of global marketing toolkits, campaign assets, content, brand guidelines, launch calendars, and other resources to regional partners.
- Partner with Japan and International Marketing leads to develop localized marketing plans that balance global brand consistency with local market relevance.
- Manage ongoing communication with Japan and International Marketing leads, including regular marketing calls, seasonal planning sessions, campaign reviews, and business updates.
- Review and provide guidance on regional marketing plans, creative adaptations, partnerships, activations, media plans, social content, and other consumer-facing initiatives
- Identify opportunities for global amplification of successful regional programs, partnerships, cultural moments, and consumer insights.
- Partner closely with internal International Marketing leads, Brand Marketing, Creative, PR, Social, Media, Retail, E-commerce, Product, and Sales teams to ensure international needs are consistently represented within global planning discussions.
- Track international participation and execution to ensure programs deliver against both brand objectives and partnership commitments.
- Monitor execution across markets and partners, sharing reports, recaps, best practices, and opportunities with the broader Global Brand Marketing team.
- Help evolve the way Cole Haan collaborates with international and licensing partners as the brand continues to expand globally.
- Maintain visibility into international marketing calendars, key market moments, openings, events, and commercial priorities.
- Serve as the primary Brand Marketing partner for Cole Haan’s licensed categories and licensing partners.
- Maintain strong communication with licensing partners to ensure alignment on key launches, marketing calendars, brand standards, and growth opportunities.
- Ensure licensed products and marketing initiatives align with Cole Haan’s overall brand positioning, visual identity, consumer strategy, and seasonal storytelling.
- Partner with licensing, creative, product, and commercial teams to integrate licensed categories into broader brand and marketing plans.
- Review and provide feedback on licensee marketing plans, budget allocation, creative assets, campaigns, partnerships, content, and activations.
- Develop tools, processes, and communication frameworks that make it easier for partners to effectively activate the Cole Haan brand.
- 5–7+ years of experience in brand marketing, international marketing, integrated marketing, partnerships, or related disciplines, ideally within fashion, retail, or consumer brands.
- Experience working across global markets, regional teams, distributors, licensees, or external business partners strongly preferred.
- Ability to flex working hours as needed to collaborate with international teams across global time zones.
- Demonstrated ability to translate a central brand strategy into programs that can flex across markets while maintaining brand consistency.

- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple markets, partners, timelines, and priorities simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and relationship-management skills, with confidence working across functions, cultures, and levels of an organization.

- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving global organization.
Base Salary/Hourly Range: From $110,000 to $135,000 annually*
Bonus Eligibility: Yes, eligible for annual target bonus based on company and individual performance
