About the Role

~1 min read

At Columbia Sportswear, our Real Estate and Legal teams play a critical role in supporting global retail operations across North America and beyond. We are seeking a Global Real Estate Lease Administrator to manage lease administration, contract workflows, and real estate data accuracy across our growing portfolio.

This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with experience in lease administration, contract management, and real estate operations, who can manage critical data, ensure compliance, and collaborate with cross-functional global teams.

  • Manage and maintain the global lease database, including lease abstraction, data entry, and tracking of critical lease dates (renewals, expirations, options)
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity, as lease data directly drives rent payments, financial reporting, and compliance requirements
  • Support end-to-end lease and contract administration, including contract review, approvals, documentation, and tracking
  • Coordinate and manage construction-related agreements, ensuring compliance with Legal, Finance, Procurement, and Risk requirements
  • Process and manage purchase orders (POs) for real estate vendors and service providers, ensuring timely approvals and execution
  • Track and manage tenant improvement allowances (TIAs), reimbursements, and lien waivers, ensuring timely submission and follow-up with landlords
  • Review and support execution of landlord documents such as Estoppel certificates and SNDA agreements, ensuring consistency with lease terms
  • Monitor and generate reports on lease status, critical dates, and contract milestones, supporting business decision-making
  • Support audit processes by maintaining proper documentation, compliance checks, and record tracking
  • Review CAM charges, taxes, and landlord billings in collaboration with Accounting to prevent overpayments
  • Manage and maintain databases for vendors, brokers, contractors, and service providers, ensuring all agreements are documented
  • Coordinate with global stakeholders (Legal, Finance, Real Estate, GCC teams) for vendor setup, new store openings, and operational readiness
  • Support utility setups and energy vendor coordination across leased locations
  • Contribute to process improvement and standardization initiatives to enhance efficiency and governance

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, Real Estate, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 5–8 years of experience in real estate lease administration, contract management, or related roles
  • Strong experience in lease abstraction, database management, and contract review
  • Hands-on experience managing real estate agreements, construction contracts, and lease documentation
  • Experience managing end-to-end contract lifecycle (review, approvals, compliance, renewals)
  • Experience with purchase order processing and vendor coordination
  • Exposure to US & Canada retail market / landlord coordination preferred
  • Familiarity with lease management tools such as ProLease or similar systems (Ariba is a plus)
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Understanding of audit, compliance, and documentation standards
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

  • Highly detail-oriented, with strong focus on data accuracy and compliance
  • A strong communicator who can effectively collaborate with global stakeholders
  • Organized and able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • A problem solver with the ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and improve processes
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, global environment with cross-functional teams
  • Someone who takes ownership of data quality, documentation, and operational excellence
