ComForCare Home Care - Contra Costa West is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Home Care Aide to join our growing team in Orinda, CA. Responsibilities:

Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
Provide companionship and emotional support to clients and their families
Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed
Perform light housekeeping duties such as laundry, vacuuming, and tidying living spaces
Assist with medication reminders and monitor client health and well-being
Provide transportation and accompany clients to appointments or errands
Document and communicate any changes in client condition to supervisors

Requirements:

Previous experience as a home care aide, caregiver, CNA, or in a related caregiving role preferred
Genuine compassion, patience, and a client-centered approach to care
Ability to pass a background check and provide verifiable references
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and follow a care plan with minimal supervision
CPR/First Aid certification is a plus
