Location: Parksville
Wage: $22.25/hr - $24.40/hr
Shift Type: Part-Time to Full time
Shift Times: Days, evenings and overnights available
Reports to: Site Supervisor or Ops Center Manager
Responsibilities
~2 min read- →Safely operating a Mobile Patrol motor vehicle in accordance with all laws and regulations;
- →Conducting security checks at client sites according to directives, standards and post orders;
- →Utilize company cell phones, two-way radios and Tracktik phone app;
- →Conducting alarm response to client sites as needed;
- →Conducting House Watch patrol if necessary;
- →Attending lone worker sites to check on workers when requested;
- →Ensuring incident and shift reports are completed including Run Sheets, Vehicle Inspection reports, Key Muster reports, Tracktik reports, Alarm reports and Inventory reports;
- →Reporting for shifts on time, and maintaining proper dress and deportment at all times;
- →Reporting any unsafe incidents, practices and/or issues;
- →Conducting vehicle checks at start of shifts and ensuring any issues are reported accurately;
- →Being respectful towards tools/equipment and ensuring proper key control at all times;
- →Ensuring vehicles are kept clean and washed as required;
- →Maintaining high standard of work ethic and professionalism;
- →Promoting a respectful workplace by displaying a courteous, professional attitude;
- →Keeping management aware of any unusual incidents;
- →Assisting in the training of new Patrol Drivers, and setting a good example at all times;
- →Completing any additional assignment as instructed by the Client Service Manager for Mobile Patrols.
Your Must-Haves:
- →Must possess a valid B.C. security workers licence.
- →Must possess a valid BC driver's licence with a clean driver’s abstract.
- →You have excellent problem solving skills and professional report writing.
- →You can work under pressure and have a calm demeanor.
- →You are proficient at operating equipment such as cell phones and two-way radios.
- →Able to work independently, especially in the evenings and overnight.
