Location: Parksville 

Wage: $22.25/hr - $24.40/hr

Shift Type: Part-Time to Full time

Shift Times: Days, evenings and overnights available

Reports to: Site Supervisor or Ops Center Manager

• →Safely operating a Mobile Patrol motor vehicle in accordance with all laws and regulations;
• →Conducting security checks at client sites according to directives, standards and post orders;
• →Utilize company cell phones, two-way radios and Tracktik phone app;
• →Conducting alarm response to client sites as needed;
• →Conducting House Watch patrol if necessary;
• →Attending lone worker sites to check on workers when requested;
• →Ensuring incident and shift reports are completed including Run Sheets, Vehicle Inspection reports, Key Muster reports, Tracktik reports, Alarm reports and Inventory reports;
• →Reporting for shifts on time, and maintaining proper dress and deportment at all times;
• →Reporting any unsafe incidents, practices and/or issues;
• →Conducting vehicle checks at start of shifts and ensuring any issues are reported accurately;
• →Being respectful towards tools/equipment and ensuring proper key control at all times;
• →Ensuring vehicles are kept clean and washed as required;
• →Maintaining high standard of work ethic and professionalism;
• →Promoting a respectful workplace by displaying a courteous, professional attitude;
• →Keeping management aware of any unusual incidents;
• →Assisting in the training of new Patrol Drivers, and setting a good example at all times;
• →Completing any additional assignment as instructed by the Client Service Manager for Mobile Patrols.

Your Must-Haves:

• →Must possess a valid B.C. security workers licence.
• →Must possess a valid BC driver's licence with a clean driver’s abstract.
• →You have excellent problem solving skills and professional report writing.
• →You can work under pressure and have a calm demeanor.
• →You are proficient at operating equipment such as cell phones and two-way radios.
• →Able to work independently, especially in the evenings and overnight.
