No Security License? No Problem!
To work in security in BC, a license is required, but we’re here to support you! Through our Licensing Support Program, we will:

• Cover the upfront cost of your Basic Security Training (BST)
• Pay for your licensing exam and first-year BC Security Worker License
• Provide support and guidance every step of the way 

• →Provide superior customer service to clients and the general public.
• →Provide access control and security foot/mobile patrols as needed.
• →Proactively respond to and resolve emergency situations and conflicts.
• →Complete evacuation and emergency response procedures when necessary.
• →Using mobile phones and basic computer programs.
• →Communicate problems or concerns to the site supervisor.
• →Possess excellent multi-tasking, problem-solving, prioritizing and organizational abilities.
• →Know occupational health and safety regulations – training provided.
• →Perform all duties with high safety standards.

• Posses a Government of Canada secret (level II) security clearance or have the ability to obtain one. 
• Ability to remain alert while on duty. 
• Ability to work in a range of weather conditions throughout shift.
• Must complete the online Commissionaire Security Officer Course 
• Be willing to obtain a BC security worker's license.
• Be comfortable using computers.
• Fluent in the English language - written, verbal and reading skills.
• Have a positive attitude with a professional demeanour.
• Have excellent attention to complete incident report writing.
• Have excellent problem-solving skills. 
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in varying situations.
