Community Teamwork is a private non-profit organization located in Lowell MA. We employ over 600 employees and are a catalyst for social change. This position will work closely with individual women in a congregate emergency shelter site in Lowell providing life skills support to all families and family members who are staying at the shelter. This position also provides oversight of site operations which include enforcing safety measures, program rules, and expectations using a trauma-informed and client-centered approach.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Assist in completing screening, intake activities and orientation of new families
- →Under the direction of the Residential Services Manager aid clients with keeping compliance with program expectations
- →Monitor Residential Counselors at other locations during shift
- →Oversee security and safety by making routine interior and exterior checks during their shift
- →Respond to On-Call Emergency situations
- →Assist individuals with day to day life skills assistance as needed
- →Document all critical incidents and safety issues using program communication system
- →Ensure general cleanliness of kitchen and dining area
- →Complete daily housekeeping duties, including room checks each night
- →Assist fellow co-workers and volunteers with coordination of events and workshops
- →Coordinate orientation of new clients as they enter the program
- →Provide emergency crisis management to families
- →Uphold the values of CTI – Equity, Integrity, Compassion
- →Prepare and deliver timely, constructive, and comprehensive performance reviews in accordance with organizational deadlines and performance management policies

Requirements
~1 min read- Desire to work with low-income, culturally diverse, and at-risk families
- Excellent Customer Service, Organizational, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient computer skills required in basic computer software and data collection
- Excellent crisis management skills
- Good attention to detail
- Solid working knowledge of community resources for low-income individual and families
- Previous relevant experience
- Bilingual (English/Spanish, English/Khmer, English/Portuguese)
