Deckhand/Unlicensed Engineer

The Deckhand/Unlicensed Engineer plays a crucial role in the safe and efficient operation of Bordelon Marine Vessel Operations. This position involves a combination of deckhand duties and engineering support, ensuring that all vessel operations run smoothly. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the vessel's equipment and assisting with navigation and safety protocols. • High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC).
• Basic knowledge of marine operations and safety protocols.

• Experience working on marine vessels or in a related field.
• Basic mechanical skills or knowledge of engine operations.
• Certifications in safety training (e.g., STCW, First Aid).

• →Assist in the daily operations of the vessel, including deck maintenance and cleaning.
• →Support the unlicensed engineering team in monitoring and maintaining machinery and equipment.
