Our client is looking for an experienced, well-rounded Marine Service Technician who enjoys a mix of diagnostics, mechanical work, and hands-on time in the yard. This is a role for someone who takes pride in solving problems and wants to be part of a growing operation that is included in an intimate Chespeake Bay Marina portfolio. Tucked along a quiet, protected creek just minutes from the Chesapeake Bay, this opportunity offers more than just a job, it’s a chance to work where people go to unwind. The Eastern Shore of Maryland is known for its slower pace, tight-knit boating community, and unmatched waterfront views, where sunrises start over calm water and days end with some of the best sunsets on the Bay. What This Role Involves This is a hands-on technician role supporting a range of service work across multiple systems. You’ll be responsible for: Diagnosing and repairing marine engines and systems Working with inboard and outboard engines Troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems Completing routine service and preventative maintenance Supporting a clean, organized, and efficient service operation Supporting the operations of the yard as needed, including travel lift operation Winterizing and commissioning Requirements We’re looking for technicians who are confident in their abilities and take pride in their work. 3+ years of hands-on marine service experience Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills across multiple systems Experience with Mercury/MerCruiser and Yanmar engines Exposure to plumbing and HVAC systems is highly valued Ability to work independently and contribute to a team Ability to operate a marine travel lift Certifications (Valued, Not Required) Yanmar Mercury / MerCruiser ABYC Systems or similar Benefits Paid Time Off Medical, Dental, Vision Upcoming 401K $35 - $45 per hour to commensurate with experience Housing available for negotiation If you have the experience and take pride in your work, we encourage you to apply.
