Working with guidance from experienced IT Operations professionals, this role contributes to well-defined service-management, reporting, documentation, asset-management, and process-improvement activities.

The intern will gain exposure to the full technology service experience, including end-user support, service delivery, IT asset management, service reporting, knowledge management, incident and problem management, operational readiness, and continuous improvement. The role develops technical, professional, and business capabilities while helping the team improve service quality, operational consistency, and data-driven decision-making.

  • Support well-defined IT Operations assignments under guidance, with attention to service quality, accuracy, documentation, confidentiality, and established processes.
  • Assist with gathering, validating, and organizing operational data for service reports, dashboards, ticket trends, asset records, knowledge management, and process-improvement initiatives.
  • Help maintain and improve documentation, knowledge articles, runbooks, process maps, service catalogs, and operational procedures.
  • Support IT asset-management and configuration-management activities, including inventory validation, lifecycle tracking, data-quality review, and follow-up coordination.
  • Assist with tracking work, action items, remediation plans, project milestones, and supporting evidence for audit, risk, or service-management commitments.
  • Participate in service-management activities, including incident, problem, change, and request-management processes, as appropriate.
  • Identify opportunities to reduce manual work, improve reporting, strengthen documentation, and enhance the team-member technology experience.
  • Use AI-enabled tools responsibly to support analysis, documentation, research, and routine work while validating results, protecting sensitive information, and maintaining human accountability.
  • Collaborate with Service Delivery, Service Management, Infrastructure, Security, business partners, and vendors to support shared operational goals.
  • Seek coaching, apply feedback, build business and technical knowledge, and demonstrate accountability for personal growth and assigned deliverables.
