Cloud QA Test Engineer

Concept Plus is seeking a QA Test Engineer to lead testing efforts for a cloud-hosted (AWS) government web application, with secondary responsibility for validating the Drupal CMS front-end and content layer. This role ensures infrastructure reliability, application performance, and functional/visual correctness across a public-facing, USWDS-themed website.

• →Monitor and test CI/CD pipeline deployments to AWS, ensuring smoke tests pass pre- and post-deployment
• →Document defects, environment issues, and infrastructure risks using [Jira/Azure DevOps/etc.]
• →Perform functional testing of Drupal pages against approved design specs (navigation, content blocks, standard page templates)
• →Validate USWDS theme rendering and cross-browser/responsive behavior across the 6-item menu structure
• →Test Section 508 / WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility compliance (contrast ratios, screen reader navigation, keyboard-only navigation, semantic HTML structure)
• →Support regression testing after Drupal core/module updates

• US Citizen
• Ability to obtain and/or maintain a government clearance.
• 3 - 5 years of Drupal or equivalent content management systems experience
• Knowledge of Drupal 9/10 architecture and content structure
• Familiarity with WCAG 2.1 AA and Section 508 accessibility standards
• Experience with test case management and defect tracking tools (Jira, Zephyr, or similar)
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployment workflows
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience working in Agile development environment

• AWS Certification (Cloud Practitioner, SysOps Administrator, or Developer Associate)
• Experience testing government / public-sector web applications
• Prior experience with ATO / compliance-driven testing environments
• Section 508 accessibility testing certification or equivalent hands-on trusted tester experience
